The instruments here were made in deliberate opposition to that order. They exist because of the work they enable — learning a language, writing with precision, thinking without constraint. These acts are too sacred to be monetised. The basic capabilities of a tool should not be gated behind a recurring charge. It should simply be available, to anyone who needs it, without condition and without end.
